Our Mission

The Offering Ground exists to preserve, renew, and share nature-based wisdom traditions while supporting their meaningful expression in the modern world.

We recognize the Earth as a living source of wisdom, relationship, and guidance. The natural world is not simply the backdrop for our lives, but a teacher whose rhythms, cycles, and intelligence invite us into deeper reciprocity, stewardship, humility, and belonging.

Through direct relationship with the land, waters, seasons, and the greater web of life, we seek to remember ways of living that support the wellbeing of present and future generations.

The Offering Ground serves both as a gathering ground and as a living network, creating opportunities for learning, practice, collaboration, and cultural exchange across communities, lands, and cultures. While Oregon serves as our organizational home, our work is not bound to a single place. We honor the many lands, waters, lineages, teachers, and communities that contribute to the preservation and renewal of wisdom traditions and to the cultivation of right relationship with all life.

We believe that ancient wisdom and emerging possibilities can meet in ways that foster healing, connection, and renewed relationship with the living Earth.
